Historic & Listed
buildings

We have over 15 years experience in working with listed and historic buildings to allow Britain's heritage to survive and thrive in the 21st century.  We follow SPAB principles while work closely with Historic England and local craftsmen to deliver sustainable and appropriate interventions.

Our director was involved in the extensive renovation of a Grade I country house in Dorset.

Works included a detailed building survey, conservation of the building fabric, extensive repairs, internal alterations and extension as well as a series of new buildings including a sustainable energy network.
St Brandon's Church - Brancepeth

Rebuilding of a Durham parish church following a devastating fire in 1998.

Our involvement included the consolidation of the surviving fabric, rebuilding of the building, a new roof, individual designs for the stained / leaded glazing, ecclesiastical furniture and internal decoration.

The project included working with the parish council, the diocese, a charitable rebuilding committee, the Heritage Lottery Fund and other benefactors.

The project has been the winner of a number of local heritage awards and is a well respected local example of how a traditional church can be represented in the 21st century.
Manor House - Hampshire
